To fulfill this commitment, management will provide and maintain a safe, healthy work environment that complies with industry standards and legislative requirements. Management will strive to eliminate
any foreseeable hazards that could result in slips, trips, falls, property damage or personal injury/illness.

Every employee, contractor and visitor is responsible and accountable for carrying out the company’s overall safety initiatives. Full and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects. Employees are responsible for following all procedures,
working safely and wherever possible, improving safety measures. Safe teamwork among all workers on the job site is essential.

It is the employer responsibility to ensure employees understand and follow the policies and procedures
included in this manual.

Employer will ensure that employees will be trained and qualified to perform their job tasks. Equipment provided by the employer will be maintained in a safe condition as per the employers’ specifications.
Safety will take precedence over everything.

Employees have the right to participate in mitigating hazards, the right to know about hazards in their
workplace and the right to refuse unsafe work.

The Safety Committee will develop and maintain the safety program. Everyone in the company will work
together toward the goal of eliminating work hazards.


Safety information contained in our corporate safety policy manual does not take precedence over the Occupational Health & Safety Act, R.S.A. 2000. Willy’s Trucking Service commits to making available to its employee’s copies of the legislation.
